An offer to established Victorian plant businesses
Koda Moss is looking for a new home
Koda Moss is a six year old moss brand with a national customer base. It has supplied MasterChef Australia, The North Face, T2 and Who Gives A Crap. It is resting right now because it runs on one pair of hands, and that is the only thing stopping it.
You would take the trade. The products, the stock, the supplier and wholesale accounts, the customers and the orders, running out of your space with your people.
Koda keeps the brand. The foraging, the writing, the photographs, the part that made people care about moss in the first place. We keep making it and keep pointing people at you, for a share of what comes through.
What comes with it. Fifteen years of knowledge built up in the family about where moss grows and how to keep it alive, six years of supplying the trade, 4,927 customers, 3,299 on the email list, and a pipeline of florists, stylists, event companies and retailers nobody has ever had the capacity to work.
Footfall you do not have to buy. Around eight hundred of those orders went to Victorian addresses, clustered through Melbourne’s inner north, and not one of them has ever had anywhere local to walk into. Koda keeps making the work that brings people in and keeps sending them somewhere. If you are the somewhere, that is your door they come through, and your other lines they see when they get there.
Why Victoria. The moss is alive when it is picked, so whoever holds it needs to be near where it comes from.
If that sounds like your business, we would like a conversation. Nothing more formal than that to begin with.
